Memorial Day weekend was a blast. Finished it off by completing the Stone Circle and Barrow Mounds. I have also finished casting a set of the stone fences and am in the process of finishing those...
Thanks to my older brother, I started wargaming in the late 70's using homemade rules and my Airfix Figures. I played D&D (still have my original Gamma World in the box!) in high school and then switched to 15mm wargaming in college.
I wrote my own skirmish rules for WW2/Vietnam and gamed that throughout the 80's. The system used a double-blind feature that involved two identical sets of terrain separated by a screen. This feature really captured the fog of war!
After a short hiatus, I am into wargaming with 10mm ACW, Colonials, WW2, Ancients and Dark Ages periods using a variety of rules systems. I am also working on a 10mm LOTR set to include all of the major armies from the War of the Ring.
I am currently working on my colonials to add the Sudan war with the Mahdists.
